My First Book "The Intern"

Well its been 2.5 years since my bus stop revelation, and the journey has been eye opening.
I not only had to find myself but be content with what i found.
Does "The Secret" work? Do i owe it all to Oprah?
Well to some degree i must admit, it does, and i do.
I guess what i learned is no one is stuck, everything can change, you can be happy without upsetting the universe.
Everyone can drink a glass of wine, throw caution into the wind, and fling their panties in the fountain, even if the fountain is only in your back yard!

In "The Intern" i wrote about myself, friends and gossip from my Real estate days.
The intoxication of power, clothes, and sex.
In the 80's everyone dressed like Linda Evans from "Dynasty". Big blonde hair, long nails, and a new car.
Woman were just as powerful as men, in fact some even more so.
I knew a women who was so sexual that when the Broker asked her how she managed to close the deal he had been chasing himself she laughed at him and said "she closed it bent over the kitchen table".
Was everyone i knew a slut? Well of course not, they just didn't make the book....lol enjoy!

The Intern Teaser

In the cutthroat world of Beverly Hills real estate, Lisa is the undisputed queen. She has a network of operatives that would be the envy of the CIA. Though she can see the vaguest signs and portents that will point to a fat commission, Lisa did not see William in her arena until it was too late. Her boss – and former lover – Phil saddled her with an Intern who was all wrong. He was too well put together. He knew too much way too soon. He was way too good looking. And worst of all for Lisa, he seemed to see beyond her mask and into her soul. Who was William? What did he really want? These questions plague Lisa, but the one that troubles her most is the one she asks of herself - Why can't she stop thinking about him?

Look for a scintillating excerpt soon!

Write What You Know

Isn't that the advice that everyone gives you after they roll their eyes? Well its always the advice i have heard people say.
And it was what i went with.
I knew things that nobody else knew. I knew how to make lemon aid when life gave you lemons.
I was the oldest of 7 children, my father drank too much, and my mother cried too much, my uncles touched to much. I went to school with my hair in braids and a pair of shoes that had to last all year.
I was good in school despite all the setbacks.
When i got older i learned what boys wanted and how that gave me power.
I could turn a "c" in math into an "a" just by shedding a tear and wearing a tight sweater.
Please don't think that im feeling sorry for myself, actually those were the worst and best times of my life. I  wouldn't trade them for anything.
Those years made me who i am today.
I learned to be a survivor. There was nothing wrong with getting knocked down just as long as you got up again.
Years later when i got my Real Estate license i excelled in a whole new way.
I wore a suit and carried a briefcase and worked with women who were some of the best of the best. They put a whole new meaning to the word "shark".
Oh and yes i learned one more thing success gave you both money and sex and no street drug came close to the feeling or power that brought you.
I wanted more!
